To convert a model in-place family into a normal family in Revit, you can follow these steps:
Open the model-in-place family that you want to convert in Revit.
Select the model in place family in the project browser or on the design surface.
Go to the "Modify" tab and click the "Create Form" button. This will create a new form for the model-in-place family.
Go to the "Form" tab and click the "Create Family" button. This will open the "New Family" dialog box.
In the "New Family" dialog box, select the "Model" family category and give the new family a name.
Click "OK" to create the new family.
The model-in-place family will now be converted into a normal family, and you can edit and customize it as needed.
